Days? Some titles take weeks to max out, if not months. Spending months on a title shows you're dedicated to it, so we should actually get something more for doing it.

I'm a pve player and I know that I would love to have emotes for at least some titles. However, we pve players should realize that many pvp players object to this idea because emotes are their particular way of showing work and vanity in the same way that armor and weapon skins are to pve players. Therefore, if we get emotes, then perhaps pvp players get to unlock fancy skins.

Allow them to unlock fancy skins with their faction.

Allow PvE characters to have emotes for maxed out titles.

Just let us earn money at around the same rate as PvErs through PvP :P Have the amount of money scale with level of play, just like you earn more money in PvE solo or farming UW than you do farming the Charr at the start of Nolani Academy, or omgwtfpwning Bandits and Aloe Seeds in pre-searing.

Sadly, until PvP charactars get a gigantic buff, or the inventory window is locked and PvP charactars get 4 weapon sets with all possible combinations to pick from, every serious PvPer is going to be using their PvEs anyway. (Don't forget that game-breaking PvE-only items like the 15% FFS, Runic Shield, HoD Axe, HoD Bow, and -2 stance longbow exist and would need to be nerfed or added, too)

I say give one to Champion and Gladiator title tracks only since that's a fitting reward for PVP. PVE has their own set of rewards to reap, at least let PVP stand out and have something special. I'd suggest probably a silver and copper form of the same exact emotes already since that'd be easy. Maybe make different ones I don't know.

I wouldn't mind em. It's kind of annoying that PvPers are the only ones with emotes. =\

What kind of bulls*** logic is this you people have? "PVEers already have too much, best not to giv ethem more"

Who the hell said emotes were for pvpers only?

Who said looking cool, having an advantage in PvP, and making money were for PvErs only? (Most importantly that second one)

Who said that PvE should get a ton of content in Factions and PvP should get 4 Guild Halls(One of which was amazingly Broken... The rest causing people to get Stuck in the map alot...), 3 Arenas maps, and 3 'PvP' areas that are pretty much random or entirely random, have bad PvP rewards, and were only accessable by PvEing until rescently(ABs still require one person in your Guild to PvE to get the NPC...)

Don't get me wrong, I'm in favor of PvE emotes. It's just the double standard so many PvE only players have makes me sad, and angry.

I just think PvPers would enjoy balance, quality content, and quality rewards too.

Emotes should not be limited to PvP chars....
and for those who say that PvP needs "more skill"..my response is LOOOOOOOL

We all know what fame farming is, we all know most people there use the same premade builds, repeating the same standard moves, tactics, blah blah blah...

Your logic is flawed seriously. Repetative action can be found in both worlds.

You also forgot to mention how PvP is dynamic while PvE is static. Even though 8 vs 8 Heroes' Ascent was a fairly static enviroment in terms of builds and tactics...

Plus, the only reason people can farm fame is because the fame mechanic sucks. The moment ANET makes you loose fame for losses, is the moment that scrubs stop fame farming, learn to play, and start playing descent build that can win.

flawed??? hmmm..i think you didn't catch my point...so let's make it more obvious:
Yes repetative action can be found in both worlds, so it's unfair to reward only PVP world with emotes

You do realise that even if the players are playing on the same map, with the same build, that people react and adapt, while monsters do not? That makes it a bit less repetative, yes? Since winning isn't based on doing the exact same thing over and over...

Unlike the mobs in PvE that react the same way every single time, have the same skills, and are in the same location.

Zui, we can argue for many hours about PVE and PVP, since each one of us has his own POV, which is 100% logical. Human players cannot be compared with monsters of course, but c'mon...u know how to react vs an i-whatever team, u know who should die first, second etc and believe me you repeat the same procedure every time-no matter if u manage to win or not... But let's forget that..pvp and pve are 2 aspects of the same game, so everyone is free to choose, period.

The purpose of the thread is not to compare PVE vs PVP but to persuade that if you max a title in PVE, it's fair to ask for an emote

To max a title needs time, effort, skill (not for all) and yes money for many of them.
So why not getting an emote when you invest 1mil+ for a title while at the same time a r3 i-whatever char gets it in no time...

I'm not really sure of the point. You can already display your titles for anyone who cares to see. Maybe you want people to be forced to watch your emote display? And why is that? The /rank emote is already a pretty bad idea and getting rid of it would be better than having all titles or many of them have their own emote.
